Mid / Senior Level Designer (Applications Closed)

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate designer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Studio Us is a multidisciplinary creative studio based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an experienced designer on our team you would be responsible for leading design projects and managing junior level designers to execute a variety of projects ranging from brand strategy to photoshoots.

Specs:

We are accepting applications for mid-level and senior level designers. This is an on-site, full-time salaried position with benefits. However, we are open to candidates interested in part-time employment.

Ideal candidate would be able to begin work as soon as possible.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

  • Must be available to work on-site

  • 5+ years working experience

  • Advanced understanding of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator & Figma

  • Experience working on strategic branding and visual identity projects

  • Dedicated, reliable, and hard-working individual with a passion for design

  • Experience communicating and coordinating with clients

  • Able to onboard project requests and decipher requested design deliverables

  • Experience working in a creative team setting

  • Experience managing junior designers and conducting critique

  • Basic understanding of UX/UI design and SEO / Web Accessibility Standards

  • Creative and able to quickly ideate and create visual concepts

  • Experience using a project management software as well as following and adapting to timelines

  • Comfortable expanding upon and working through raw direction or ideas

  • Excited to work on a large variety of projects ranging in scale and type of work

  • Enjoys problem solving and brainstorming

  • Exceptional organization, file management skills, and willing to adapt to new processes and workflows

  • Willing to work collaboratively and effectively with a team

  • Highly communicative

  • Loves learning and trying new things

  • Not afraid of complex data or spreadsheets
